Inauguration ceremony of Government Degree College Katra was held at Panchayat Ghar Dadoora, Panthal in a simple but impessive function.
Talat Parvez Rohella, Secretary Higher Education Department was the Chief Guest on this occasion whereas Prof R.K.Ganjoo, Director CDC, University of Jammu and Dr. S.P.Sarswat, Nodal Principal, G.G.M Science College Jammu were the Chief Guest on the occasion.
While interacting with the gathering, Secretary apprised the the audience of the futuristic plans of the departments. He also issued onspot instructions to the College administration for further expansion.

Dr.Gangoo and Dr.S.P. Sarswat also addressed the gathering and extended full cooperation on their part.
